UGL Utilities Operations & Maintenance works in partnership with Endeavour Energy to deliver essential infrastructure across one of Australia’s largest electricity networks, supporting reliable power supply to millions of customers across NSW.

Key Responsibilities

·Lead civil design for substations, drainage, access roads and network infrastructure projects across the Endeavour Energy network.

·Provide technical oversight and guidance to internal teams and external consultants, including review and approval of designs, reports, drawings and specifications.

·Support project delivery from planning and investigations through to construction, including site inspections, condition assessments and construction support activities.

·Prepare and review engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, design reports, cost estimates and technical deliverables.

·Ensure compliance with Endeavour Energy standards, Australian Standards, local regulatory requirements and safety obligations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

·Proven experience as a senior civil design engineer with expertise in stormwater design, drainage, earthworks and civil infrastructure projects.

·Experience within electricity distribution, transmission or the broader energy sector, including substation or utility-related civil works.

·Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, local regulatory requirements and civil engineering design practices, including drainage, pavement and access infrastructure.

·Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence consultants, contractors and project teams.

·Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or 12D, together with a current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Desirable

·Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or working towards Chartership.

·Current NSW Driver's Licence.

·Experience with Revit, Navisworks, AutoTURN or similar design platforms.
