The Role

This individual will be responsible for supporting and leading civil engineering and land development projects from concept through construction. The person will collaborate closely with internal design teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to deliver projects that meet all local, state, and federal requirements while supporting quality, safety, and sustainability objectives.

• Design and oversee site development projects including grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, erosion control, sidewalks, and parking layouts.
  
• Prepare and manage stormwater detention and retention designs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies throughout the design and permitting process.
  
• Manage projects from initial concept through final construction administration based on project complexity and experience level.
• Conduct site visits and construction observations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams on commercial, industrial, and federal project initiatives.
• Support permitting activities related to stormwater management facilities and erosion control systems.
• Travel up to 20% as required to support project and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline along with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, land development, and site design required.
  
• Strong experience with stormwater management, erosion control, permitting, and Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Experience supporting industrial, large campus, federal, or DoD-related projects is highly preferred, along with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
