The Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • Lead the engineering, design, and execution of civil and structural works for greenfield and brownfield projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Independently manage multiple engineering assignments from concept through detailed design and project execution.
  • Perform and review structural analysis and design for industrial facilities, including steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Design and review dynamic foundations for rotating and vibrating equipment in accordance with applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 10–12 engineers and designers, ensuring technical quality and adherence to project schedules.
  • Review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international codes, client specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Workhour estimation for proposals, preparing SOW documents etc.

About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Lead Engineer role is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Familiarity with international design codes such as AISC, ACI, IS, Eurocodes, or equivalent standards.

  • Hands-on experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, industrial foundations, and steel and concrete design.
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and MAT3D (or equivalent structural analysis software).
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of dynamic foundations.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
