Shape Melbourne’s Future with KBR

KBR is the Principal Design Partner on theNorth WesternProgram Alliance (NWPA), alongside LXRP, Metro Trains Melbourne, and John Holland.

Since 2017, NWPA has delivered ~$3B in transport infrastructure and now has a secured pipeline through to 2027. Current works include Melbourne Airport Rail, level crossing removals, and major bridge projects.

KBR is part of the SRL EastLinewideAlliance, delivering a transformative90kmorbital rail network across Melbourne.

SRL East includes26kmof tunnels and six new stations, supporting connected communities and future growth.

As part of the alliance, KBR (with WSP) leads multi-disciplinary design andsystemsintegration across track, civil, structures, power, and rail systems.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SeniorCivil Drafterto join our growing team supporting NWPA and/or SRL projects.Reporting to the TeamLeaderyou will contribute to the delivery of a variety of infrastructure projects.

You willbe responsible forcompleting civil designs and drafting work using various design software tools, AutoCAD, Civil 3d, MicroStation &ORD. You will also be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders including project supervisors,engineersand junior staff.

As an individual you are excited by the prospect of delivering iconic projects to the and you will have a proven background in major infrastructure projects.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering design/drafting or equivalent relevant qualification

  • High competency in ORD design software

  • MicroStation design software experience desirable

  • 12D design software experience desirable

  • Collaborate with engineers, projectmanagersand other drafters to ensure accuracy and project alignment

  • Assistin the preparation of electrical design deliverables across various stages of a project

  • Developed design experience including knowledge and experience of design standards

  • Demonstratean appropriate balanceof practicality and innovation in your work
