Job Title – Senior Civil Construction Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Civil Construction Engineer to oversee and manage civil construction activities across projects. This role involves supervising site execution, ensuring quality and safety compliance, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving successful project delivery within timelines and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Management
Oversee day-to-day civil construction activities on project sites.
Ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Monitor construction progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth execution.
Technical Supervision & Engineering Support
Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans.
Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues during execution.
Ensure compliance with civil engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
Support value engineering and construction optimization initiatives.
Project Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and design teams.
Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and manpower allocation.
Monitor material requirements and site logistics to avoid delays.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical progress updates.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct inspections and monitor workmanship across all construction activities.
Implement quality control procedures and corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Health, Safety & Risk Management
Promote and enforce health and safety practices on site.
Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures.
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with HSE requirements.
Support incident investigations and preventive action plans.
Cost & Resource Management
Monitor project resources, productivity, and material utilization.
Assist in controlling project costs and minimizing wastage.
Support evaluation of contractor performance and work progress.
Coordinate with procurement teams regarding site requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
Track project issues and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure proper documentation of changes, approvals, and site activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
8–15 years of experience in civil construction and project execution.
Strong experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards, and site management practices.
