We’re looking for a Senior Cinematic Artist with a strong sense of composition, storytelling, and motion. You’ll work in real-time environments, blending your expertise in 3D, motion, and graphic design to craft high-quality cinematic sequences and visual storytelling moments that bring our worlds to life. In addition, you have a strong background or experience in animation, ensuring that characters’ movement and interactions feel smooth and captivating.
You’ll collaborate across disciplines, from art and design to marketing and production, shaping the visual tone and pacing of our cinematics. The ideal candidate is both creative and technical, with an eye for cinematic framing, color, and atmosphere, and a hands-on approach to layout, animation, and camera work in Unreal Engine (and willing to learn Stingray).
Develop and deliver real-time cinematics, trailers, and visual sequences in collaboration with the Art and Narrative teams
Handle layout, camera work, animation, lighting, and composition for cinematic scenes
Work directly inside Unreal Engine and Stingray to prototype, iterate, and finalize shots
Integrate and optimize 3D assets, VFX, and motion elements to maintain both quality and performance
Collaborate with video editors, sound designers, and marketing artists to ensure consistency in pacing, style, and tone
Support visual development for motion graphics and in-game storytelling elements
Contribute creative ideas on how to enhance emotional impact through visual rhythm, color, and motion
Maintain organized project files and ensure efficient workflows for real-time production
5+ years of proven experience as a Cinematic Artist or similar role in games, film, or real-time production
Strong eye for composition, lighting, framing, and storytelling through motion
Proven experience with animating, rigging, keyframing characters
Proficiency in 3D tools (Maya, Blender, or equivalent) and motion design software (After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
Experience working in Unreal Engine; experience with or willingness to learn Stingray
Understanding of real-time rendering and performance optimization
Excellent sense of timing, rhythm, and visual flow in animation and editing
A collaborative mindset and ability to take ownership of cinematic sequences from concept to delivery
Passion for games and storytelling, with a high bar for quality and detail
