E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior CI Specialist to join our team in Fort Meade, MD in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). DIA provides intelligence on foreign militaries and their operating environments so the United States and its allies can prevent and decisively win wars. It serves everyone from the president to the soldier in combat through a combination of expert analysis, intelligence gathering, and cutting-edge science and technology.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts all-source analysis across the functions of CI by using information and intelligence from multiple sources to identify trends, gaps, and leads.
  • Assesses, interprets, forecasts, and provides warning of foreign intelligence services’ intent and capability to target U.S. interests
  • Collaborates with community analysts and coordinates CI analytical products for quality-of-analysis evaluation and peer review in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) processes
  • Identifies, monitors, and assesses foreign intelligence efforts attempting to collect sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests, including threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests
  • Applies knowledge and understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities, activities, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies
  • Helps to inform, from an analytical perspective, the development of CI concepts, procedures, plans, and strategies across the functions of CI
  • Adheres to Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) all-source analytic tradecraft standards
  • Produces tactical and operational level analytical products to support requests for information (RFIs) across the functions of CI
  • Ensures colleagues, team, Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA), and leadership are well informed on the status and disposition of relevant CI products
  • Informs the development of briefings for foreign visitors and/or traveling to countries with an elevated CI threat

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and a minimum 12 years of experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years; or have Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years as a Counterintelligence (CI) Specialist / in CI operations supporting military intelligence or cyberspace operations.
  • Graduate of an in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or military Service equivalent
  • Experience maintaining databases and repositories as well as in-depth familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PDF
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Support to CI risk assessments, supply chain risk assessments, CI support to Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA), or analytical support to one or more of the following CI functions: collection, functional services, investigations, and operations
  • Experience supporting at least two of the four missions of CI:
  1. countering espionage, international terrorism, and the CI insider threat
  2. support to force protection
  3. support to the defense critical infrastructure program
  4. support to research, development, and acquisition

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
