At Demant, we are developing state-of-the-art chipsets that power our hearing healthcare products. We are looking for a Senior Chipset Verification Engineer to join our Chipset organization and play a key role in executing and evolving the test campaign for our next-generation chipset platform used in Demant’s hearing solutions.

Welcome to Chipset, a key division within our Research & Development organization. We design and build chipsets that power our world ‑leading hearing instruments and accessories. Our commitment to technological excellence drives us to deliver professional ‑grade solutions in DSP processing, audio quality, connectivity, AI integration, and rechargeability - always in compact form factors with extremely low power consumption.

The Role

As a Senior Chipset Verification Engineer, you will be a central contributor to chipset verification and validation campaigns. You will:

• lead development of automated test scripts and frameworks (Python-based)
• execute chipset test campaigns in close collaboration with chip designers
• perform analysis, debugging, and root-cause investigations on silicon results
• drive clear conclusions and reporting from test data
• contribute to future test architecture, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reuse across projects
• follow QMS documentation standards

Within our innovative department, you will join a vibrant community of engineers with deep expertise in analog IC design, digital IC design and verification, physical IC implementation, and IC test development. We use state ‑of ‑the ‑art tools, methodologies, and technologies, enabling true end ‑to ‑end chipset development. Chipset organization consists of 55 highly skilled professionals designing and implementing the microelectronics integrated into our advanced hearing ‑aid chipsets used across leading brands such as Oticon, Philips, and Bernafon.

About you

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong test and software foundation:

• strong experience within test development and software frameworks (e.g., Python)
• experience working with automated test systems and lab equipment
• solid understanding of software architecture and structured development
• good understanding of electronics (an advantage)

• a collaborative team player who thrives in cross-disciplinary environments
• strong communication skills – able to work effectively with both test engineers and chip developers
• a structured and proactive approach to solving complex test challenges
• curiosity about AI and how it can enhance test and validation workflows
