About the Role
The Senior Change Manager is a strategic leader responsible for designing and driving enterprise-level change strategies across complex digital, physical, cultural, or operational transformations at UNSW. The role ensures successful adoption and sustainment of new ways of working by aligning change approaches with university strategic priorities and managing organisational readiness.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic communications leadership and trusted advisory services to support complex organisational transformation. The role is responsible for developing and delivering integrated communication and engagement strategies that leverage modern channels, digital platforms, and campaign-based approaches to drive awareness, understanding, adoption, and behaviour change.
As digital engagement is increasingly critical to transformation success, the position requires expertise in digital communications, which may include web content development, employee experience platforms, digital marketing practices, audience segmentation, analytics, and channel optimisation. The role champions contemporary communication practices and continuously evolves communications capability across the organisation.
Working across multiple business functions, the position partners closely with Program Leadership, the EPMO, Business Partners, and senior stakeholders to align communication outcomes with strategic objectives. The role may lead a small team and coordinate specialist or matrixed resources to deliver high-impact communication, engagement, and change initiatives.
