Job Description

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for acting as the custodian of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the Lean framework, ensuring all SOPs are accurate, current, compliant, and consistently applied across the organization. The role oversees the end‑to‑end SOP lifecycle, including development coordination, structured review, formal approval, controlled publishing, and periodic updates, in alignment with Lean principles, governance standards, and organizational policies.

The position ensures SOPs enable process stability, standardization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, while maintaining document control, version integrity, and accessibility for all stakeholders.

Role is also responsible for driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies across the organization's products, systems, operations, and processes by adopting Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and CX strategies/methodologies

Key Result Areas:

• Lead and facilitate the governance framework by overseeing and improving organizational procedures and job functions.
• Primary interface between Lean management and the business areas, for reviewing and publishing SOP’s, implementing lean principles in business units.
• Drive the enhancement of SOP system across the bank and improve adoption
• Execute projects with measurable cost impacts and significant improvements in customer experience, aligned with the overall strategy of CXCG
• Identify any gaps in skills or knowledge that may be hindering performance and recommend relevant training to address these gaps and improve overall productivity.
• Report Lean projects key metrics and achievements for the Lean Kanban Dashboard
