Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Senior Catering Sales Managerto join the Catering and EventsTeam at this gorgeous Atlanta property!

Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms ( 127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Senior Catering Sales Manager, you’re not just overseeing the planning and execution of catered events – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Grow catering market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
  • Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
  • Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
  • Oversee event coordination: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
  • Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
