The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. What You'll Do
Drive Revenue and Grow Business

Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to increase catering and event revenue.

Prospect, solicit, negotiate, and secure new catering business across multiple market segments.

Consistently achieve and exceed individual catering revenue and sales goals.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, social organizations, and community partners.

Identify emerging market opportunities and stay informed on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity.

Develop repeat business and maximize revenue opportunities from existing accounts and past clients.
Create Exceptional Client Experiences

Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their event goals, vision, and expectations.

Conduct engaging property tours showcasing the hotel's event spaces, guest accommodations, and amenities.

Develop customized proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

Recommend menus, enhancements, and event solutions that exceed client expectations while maximizing profitability.

Serve as a knowledgeable resource throughout the sales and planning process.
Lead Seamless Event Execution

Serve as the primary client liaison from initial inquiry through event completion.

Coordinate closely with culinary, banquet, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

Attend BEO meetings, tastings, site visits, and event functions as needed.

Welcome clients and guests during events and ensure their experience reflects The DAYTONA's high standards.

Monitor event details and proactively resolve issues to protect the client experience.

Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and generate repeat and referral business.
Provide Senior-Level Sales Leadership

Serve as a senior resource and role model within the catering sales function.

Partner with hotel leadership on revenue strategies, market opportunities, and key client initiatives.

Share market intelligence, sales trends, and opportunities with hotel leadership.

Support departmental goals and initiatives while contributing to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.

Maintain compliance with all hotel, franchise, and company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of successful catering sales experience, preferably in a high-volume resort, beachfront, luxury hotel, or destination hospitality environment.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding catering revenue and sales goals.

Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
-
Ability to manage multiple events, clients, and priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Strong understanding of banquet operations, event planning processes, and catering sales systems.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel operations and leadership teams.

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Wedding sales and planning experience.

Food & Beverage or culinary background.

Experience selling events in a resort, destination, luxury, or high-volume hotel environment.

Established relationships within the local corporate, social, wedding, or event market.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
