About the role

As Senior Category Manager Farmaline, you will take end-to-end ownership of category performance for the Belgian market. Combining commercial judgement with deep analytical work and cross-functional leadership, you will strengthen the assortment, improve the customer experience and deliver sustainable growth. You will consult as a senior sparring while remaining hands-on in daily category steering.

Your responsibilities

• Own and develop the category strategy for the Belgian market, translating business priorities into assortment, availability and commercial plans.
• Turn sales, margin, customer, market and competitor data into clear decisions, measurable actions and performance improvements.
• Guide and lead the expansion of own stock and marketplace assortment.
• Improve current processes and way of working.
• Perform deep dive category analysis for supplier meetings.
• Act as a senior sparring partner for the Category Management team, setting a strong analytical standard and supporting colleagues with complex commercial questions.
• Identify opportunities across the customer journey and drive cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation and impact review.

Qualifications

About you

• Several years of relevant Category Management experience, with clear ownership of assortment and commercial performance, prepare you to operate independently at senior level.
• A background in e-commerce, online retail, pharmacy, consumer health or a comparable B2C environment is highly valuable.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large commercial data sets allow you to translate analysis into concrete business decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management, sound commercial judgement and a structured approach help you lead initiatives across functions without relying on formal authority.
• You communicate confidently in either Flemish or French and you are fluent in English. You can collaborate effectively in an international environment.
