Join Grundfos as a Senior Category Manager and build strong relationships across our global organization. This role offers broad exposure beyond Purchasing, connecting with stakeholders across regions, product development, and leadership.

What you will be doing

As Senior Category Manager you will manage a global supplier base in a complex, cross-regional environment and support innovation sourcing by collaborating with key suppliers to strengthen Grundfos’ product pipeline. The purpose of the Senior Category Manager for Electronics is to drive Make/Buy decisions on behalf of Group Purchasing, execute the strategy defined by Group Operations and manage the outsourced manufacturing supply base with a team of experts (project managers/ support).

Your main responsibilities are:

• Collaborate closely with category managers, Product Marketing, Product Development, and Chief Technology Sourcing
• Identify and onboard suppliers aligned with customer and business needs
• Negotiate supplier agreements and initiate business partnerships
• Support operations to ensure smooth and efficient supply to production
• Drive purchasing initiatives (VMI, quality, sustainability) aligned with strategy
• Align sourcing strategies with development teams and regional requirements
• Represent purchasing in product and technology development projects
• Ensure alignment of global and regional sourcing strategies

Category strategy & supplier management

• Develop long-term category and supplier strategies
• Lead tendering processes (eRFI, RFQ, e-auctions) and negotiations
• Maintain deep market knowledge and monitor supplier performance
• Drive supply chain improvements with local teams
• Partner with engineering to identify optimal technologies

What makes you a great fit

• Relevant commercial or technical education
• 5+ years of sourcing experience in a global organization, ideally in Electronics or related categories
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation experience at senior level
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience with SAP
