The Senior Category Leader is accountable for managing, developing and implementing packaging category strategies across TwO Businesses; is empowered to own the full end to end approach clearly defining short and longer term business need priorities which inform category strategies to improve performance, maximise value through total cost savings, supporting innovation and managing risk by business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders. TwO Packaging spend of £86M categories annualised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leveraging supplier resources for optimizing value delivery through total cost savings and promoting innovation, sustainability and managing risk.
  • Manage Supplier Relationship Management programs with all agreed core suppliers leveraging supplier resources for continuous value delivery through total cost reduction and innovation.
  • Seek to utilise tools and processes such as e-sourcing to support strategy execution and to be curious to seek and understand new tools and process for continuous improvement.
  • Business partnering with NPD, Quality & technical as part of the TwO Packaging community, guiding the business on generation of innovation possibilities and delivering agreed pipeline projects on time to best total cost
  • Accountable for ensuring 100% supply in place to all sites.
  • Lead the building of 3 to 5 years opportunity pipeline, sourcing, value engineering, supply-chain improvements, for continuous total cost improvement delivery.
  • Build, align and own annual budget for categories, quarterly forecasting & quarterly market led cost updates
  • Implement cost models as per contractual conditions, reviewing & adjust as appropriate to maximise value to the business
  • Own areas of team output to support your own development and challenge others to improve overall
  • Build and Develop business partnering with the ABF Procurement Group

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • At least 10 years FMCG Raw Materials and Packaging Procurement experience
  • Knowledge of direct spend categories within FMCG industry
  • Fluency in both Polish and English language
  • E- Sourcing Skills
  • Price modelling experience
  • Understanding of commodity markets
  • Experience in Ariba Guided buying
