As our Senior Category Buyer at AB InBev, you will be responsible for development of the European Transportation Category and Sourcing Strategies for EU Transportation and implementation of them via strategic sourcing projects and other non-sourcing initiatives. Join us and you will be defining the category strategy, sourcing, tactics and contracts, driving the optimal delivery of business requirements. What will you be doing:

  • Define and execute the European Transport Category strategy and roadmap, aligning regional objectives with global procurement strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including market analysis, supplier engagement, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, e-auctions, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract awards.
  • Manage supplier relationships and Category Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), driving performance, innovation, value engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle management, including implementation, renewals, consolidations, terminations, compliance, issue resolution, and governance adherence across countries.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, budget owners, procurement teams, and global/category leadership to identify requirements, maximize value, and support procurement objectives.
  • Monitor category performance, spend, savings delivery, contract compliance, pricing trends, and procurement KPIs, implementing corrective actions and reporting results as needed.
  • Drive procurement excellence by challenging existing processes, increasing spend coverage, ensuring transparent purchasing practices, supporting transformation projects, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization.

What you will bring:

  • Fluency in English C1 Level
  • University Degree in Procurement or Financial preferably master’s degree/ MBA
  • 2-3 years working experience: Procurement, Commercial, Financial and international work experience is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management skills and ability to manage complex cross-country, cross-functional scope
  • Strong analytical skills enabling to understand cost models, sourcing results and financial and operational impact for the Company
  • Strategic mindset;
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes, methods and techniques, including negotiation skills, e-sourcing tools, e-auctions is beneficial;
  • Category management experience is a strong asset
