Join our dedicated team at Venndale Rehabilitation Centre, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and rebuilding their lives. As our Senior Case Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, and direction to a team of Case Managers delivering a 12-week residential rehabilitation program focused on alcohol and other drugs, health, life skills, and wellbeing.

You’ll oversee case management for up to 42 participants, support complex client needs, and ensure high-quality, compliant, and culturally appropriate service delivery.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance team management, clinical oversight, and direct client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Case Managers
  • Oversee client intake, assessment, case planning, and discharge
  • Manage complex cases and support high-quality, client-centred care
  • Monitor program delivery, client engagement, and outcomes
  • Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external services
  • Promote a culturally safe, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused environment
  • Support safe work practices and effective risk management

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Entitlements/Benefits:

  • 6 Weeks Annual Leave
  • 2 Weeks Sick Leave
  • 2 Weeks Ancillary Leave
  • 1 RDO per Month

Location: This position is based at Kalano’s Venndale Rehabilitation Centre, 30km from Katherine.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week | 7.5 hours per day | Monday to Friday

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Alcohol & Other Drugs (essential)
  • Diploma in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or similar (desirable)
  • Leadership/management training (highly regarded)

Experience & Skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring staff
  • 5years Case Management experience
  • Strong background in AOD or community services, including complex client work
  • Sound understanding of compliance, and WHS
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and lead service delivery
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with cultural awareness and respect
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Mandatory before commencement:

  • NT Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
  • National Police Check
