About the Role
As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will continue to deliver exceptional, person-centred care while also acting as a role model and support for your colleagues. You’ll help drive consistency, quality, and compassion across services in the Ipswich region.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care, ensuring clients’ dignity, comfort, and independence are always upheld
- Support clients with daily living activities (e.g. personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation)
- Monitor client wellbeing and proactively report or escalate changes in condition
- Take a more active role in care planning and supporting best practice across the team
- Build trusting relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery
- Provide guidance and informal support to other Care Practitioners
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen leadership capability
What We’re Looking For
- Have experience as a Care Practitioner or in a similar role
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to person-centred care
- Are ready to take on increased responsibility and lead by example
- Communicate effectively and build positive relationships
- Work well independently and within a team
- Show reliability, initiative, and genuine care for client wellbeing
- A relevant qualification in health or social care
