Job Description

A growing real estate investment, development, and construction firm is seeking a Capital Markets Senior Associate to support investor relations, financial reporting, and capital markets initiatives. This role works closely with senior leadership and plays a key part in communicating portfolio performance, managing investor reporting, and supporting fundraising efforts. The position offers strong exposure to both the analytical and relationship-driven sides of real estate finance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver quarterly and annual investor reports with clear performance insights
• Analyze portfolio performance, market trends, and key financial metrics
• Support investor communications, including meetings and ongoing inquiries
• Assist with fundraising efforts and investor outreach initiatives
• Manage investor documentation, joint venture records, and partnership updates
• Review and evaluate business plans from an equity and cash flow perspective
• Oversee quarterly investor distributions, including calculations and reporting
• Maintain and update investment waterfalls, IRR tracking, and return metrics
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis (e.g., sensitivity analysis, debt modeling, ROI, CAGR)
• Partner with internal teams to refine financial projections and strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in real estate finance, debt underwriting, or capital markets
• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
• Experience supporting investor relations or fundraising efforts
• Solid understanding of real estate finance concepts (DCF, IRR, equity multiples, waterfalls)
• Background working with real estate investment or development platforms
• Exposure to joint venture structures and partnership reporting
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear investor-facing communication
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
