The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

Responsible for supporting in improvement of Fluid and Thermal performance of Products/Projects through CFD Simulations

Your responsibilities will include

  1. Translate Simulation Requests, Physical Problems into Numerical Models.

  2. Prepare the plan for simulation activities and align the simulation strategy with the requester

  3. Execute CFD Simulation projects as an individual contributor

  4. Establishing correlations and validations at Component/Subsystems Level

  5. Good in problem solving

  6. Have effective communication, aligned with the project requirement.

  7. Provide design solutions based on simulations.

Technical Expertise:

  1. Proficient in component/subsystem/system level Pre Processing tool (Ansys Workbench /CCM+/Spaceclaim /Creo etc )

  2. Proficient in Flow simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)

  3. Proficient in Thermal simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)

Minimum requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: M.E/M.Tech in Thermal/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.

EXPERIENCE: 3-6 Years

Technical Expertise:

  1. Proficient in component/subsystem/system level Pre Processing tool (Ansys Workbench /CCM+/Spaceclaim /Creo etc )
  2. Proficient in Flow simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)
  3. Proficient in Thermal simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)
  4. Knowledge of Fluid & Thermal Science .
  5. Knowledge of CFD fundamentals
  6. Basic understanding flow and thermal Measurement Data
  7. Proficiency in Simulation tools like Fluent/Star CCM/Openfoam
  8. Results interpretation skills.

Preferred skills and experiences

Required Technical Experience:

  1. Should have Good knowledge of CFD fundamentals

  2. Should be able to prepare the simplified CAD models required.

  3. Define the mesh attributes and assign the required boundary conditions

  4. Perform the CFD simulations, analyze the results, prepare proper reports with appropriate conclusions and suggestions to improve the product performance.

  5. Hands on experience on flow and thermal problems.

  6. Good knowledge of Engineering fundamentals of Thermodynamics, Fluid dynamics, and Heat transfer

  7. Should be able to handle projects in the area of Fluid Flow and Heat transfer

  8. Good Results interpretation skills.

  9. Critical thinking for effectively approaching to conclusions

Rigor to publish/present papers in Technical Forums

Technical rigor for patent filing and desirable to have patents
