ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Buying Admin Assistant role is a 360 admin based role, where you will be assisting the Buyer with the day to day running of the critical path across all ranges. The ideal candidate for this role combines high levels of organisation, analytical thinking, strong communication skills and attention to detail.

This role is creative yet admin heavy and will require someone who is organised as you will work closely with our in-house production team. The ideal BAA must be motivated to work across numerous projects to support the buying functions on a daily basis with a positive attitude, and hunger to learn.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Assist the Buying team with the day to day running of the buying department
• Analyse top line company best and worst trade actions
• Manage the critical path to ensure delivery stays on track, working closely with the production team to ensure all dates are updated and new PO's sent to suppliers.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers when chasing samples, fabrics, lab dips etc for the team.
• Assist in bulk fabric approvals alongside Buyers
• Assist with the filing system for fabrics/lab dips by collection
• Support Production Manager when required i.e. checking production emails, barcode checking, sending samples to the Warehouse.
• Manage collection company overview docs that are shared with the wider business that include all key ecommerce styling and product details.
• Compile weekly Competitor Shopping Reports to highlight competitor activity, missed opportunities & promotional activity, utilising websites and social media.
• Provide assistance to the Buying team i.e. updating range plan, fit slides, sample management in studio, preparation for fit sessions.
• Assisted ownership of the sample room and samples as they arrive. Hanging and sorting for the team. Ensuring the sample room is kept tidy and in order.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

• At least 2 years experience working in a Buying team in Fashion
• Current fashion trend knowledge and a passion for MESHKI product is essential
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite
• PLM, Netsuite and Shopify experience is an advantage
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator and CAD development
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
