Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Achieve procurement targets in Commodity Management, BU and region.

2. Managing price negotiations in projects

3. Specify procurement strategy in accordance with Commodity Management, BU purchasing strategy, regional strategy

4. Analysis and evaluation of supplier quotations

5. Compliance with Game Rules, signature directives and VC standards in Purchasing Development and implementation of Commodity Strategy (in APAC)

6. Negotiation of annual contracts with support of global or regional Purchase Managers

7. Define & negotiate basic terms & conditions for suppliers in the commodity (e.g. Framework Agreement, delivery & payment terms, etc.)

8. Transfer projects to Logistics and Supplier Quality

9. RFQ processing

10. Cost estimates

11. Selection of series suppliers together with Purchasing Manager / Commodity Manager

12. Troubleshooting / Support of Logistics and SQA

13. Responsible for optimized product cost in close cooperation with development

14. Price negotiation on product level

15. Invoice verification and release within the limits

Qualifications:

1. Engineering Bachelor degree or above or master in technical or Professional Experience:

2.Purchasing experience (5 years)

2.1Commodity Manager (1 year / option)

2.2Project Buyer (3 years)

2.3In total 5 years experience in automotive industry

3. Specialized knowledge:

3.1 Technical know how in main commodities of VC ( e.g. Compounds, stampings, aluminum die casting, tubes, extrusions …)

3.2Supply chain processes (supplier – VC – customer)

3.3Project Management skills in automotive industry

3.4Quality management in automotive industry

3.5Negotiation skills

4. Good communication

5. Professional English skills
