Job Description

What you’ll do:

This role is mainly responsible for CAPEX equipment procurement as well as the equipment maintenance and repair for BA1 and BA2, supporting category managers souring new equipment suppliers and draw up procurement strategies, through comprehensive evaluation and bidding across different supply channels of multiple brands to achieve Cost-saving targets .

1.Capex & Equipment Project Management
Lead full-cycle purchasing activities for production or test equipment, and its facility renovation. Consolidate project requirements, align technical specifications with internal stakeholders, and track project milestones to ensure timely project delivery.
2. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
Support to Category manangers to conduct supplier research, qualification, vendor audit and performance evaluation. Develop reliable supplier pools for mechanical, electrical, automation and factory infrastructure equipment. Manage supplier relationship, resolve delivery quality issues, and maintain stable supply chain.
3. Cost Down & Commercial Negotiation

Analyze market cost structure, track raw material, metal and industry component price fluctuations. Lead commercial negotiation on quotation, payment terms, delivery lead time, penalty clauses and after-sales terms. Ensure reasonable total cost, execute annual cost-down targets and continuous procurement optimization.
4. Cross-functional & Project Coordination
Closely collaborate with R&D, Engineering and production teams during project validation, technical confirmation, sample verification and mass implementation. Ensure all engineering changes and requirement updates are well documented and fully aligned with suppliers.
5. Compliance & Document Control
Manage PR/PO execution in SAP system, maintain accurate procurement records, contract archives and project files. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company internal control, financial policy, safety regulation and factory compliance requirements.
6. Risk Control & Supply Stability
Identify supply chain risks including lead-time risk, price volatility, overseas cross-border delivery and customs issues. Develop risk mitigation plans to ensure stable equipment supply and project schedule stability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Majors about Mechanical equipment or supply chain management is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement; equipment procurement experience strongly preferred

  • Skilled in e-sourcing tools (E-RFQ, E-Auctions)
  • Strong capability in project management, requirement sorting, cross-department communication, and business negotiation

  • Familiar with full procurement workflow of machinery equipment, spare parts, and after-sales maintenance service
  • Able to evaluate supplier’s equipment quality, after-sales service capacity and maintenance contract terms.Text28
