We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HV Components Buyer to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the procurement process, focusing on High Voltage components essential for our cutting-edge automotive technologies. As a Senior Buyer High Voltage (HV) Connectors you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating favorable agreements, and ensuring cost ownership efficiency throughout the supply chain.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for High Voltage (HV) components in line with organizational goals and industry trends.
  • Cultivate and manage strong supplier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of HV components.
  • Negotiate and finalize supplier agreements, focusing on favorable pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive pricing catalog, ensuring consistency with agreed-upon prices and terms.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to inform decision-making and improve procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to align HV components procurement with project timelines and specifications.
  • Manage cost ownership by tracking, analyzing, and optimizing total cost of ownership throughout the supply chain.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous supplier development.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and market changes in the HV components landscape to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing within the automotive industry, with a focus on HV components.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and cost analysis.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and quality requirements.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in using procurement and supply chain management tools and software.

  • Strong English Proficiency (written, read, and oral).
