Job Description

At the MAHLE Services unit, the departments of Compliance and Investor Relations, Corporate Controlling, Internal Controls, Legal, Accounting, Tax, Finance, PM and NPM Purchasing, Foreign Trade, IT, HR, and Lean Six Sigma share the same building to foster greater interaction among teams, enhancing delivery capability and expertise to provide excellent support to all South American units, as well as our customers and partners.

Your Contribution

  • Negotiate purchase orders and contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best commercial conditions, legal compliance, and accurate cost and fee calculations.
  • Develop projects aligned with global targets, focusing on cost reduction through the identification of new suppliers, technologies, and alternative materials.
  • Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis in sourcing and bidding processes, working closely with the departments involved.
  • Actively participate in innovation and development projects related to materials and processes by providing information, quotations, and supplier data for materials and services.
  • Maintain active communication and teamwork with other buyers regarding shared suppliers and/or similar materials, while interacting with various internal and external stakeholders across different organizational levels.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or related fields.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Intermediate Spanish will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area (for external candidates).
  • Desirable knowledge of fluids, foundry consumables, and chemicals.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • Availability to work on-site in Mogi Guaçu, São Paulo, Brazil.
