Reporting to the Transactional Process Manager and as part of the Supply Chain Operations and the Forecast to Part Availability Value Stream, this position contributes to the success of the Supply Chain by performing end to end purchasing functions, including obtaining all necessary documentation for approval to store and use aircraft and non-aircraft materials, source and purchase based on actual and forecasted demand requirements.
As a Senior Buyer you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of material is received in a timely manner to meet the customers expectation considering customer requirements, previous usage, alternatives, shelf life, unit cost, storage requirements, locations of usage etc. You will provide oversight and direction to buyers and ensuring purchase orders meet the agreed delivery dates to assist Supply Chain to achieve Part Availability Service Levels and TCO outcomes.
