PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for Senior Buyer duties plus purchasing strategy execution. This role leads complex negotiations, chairs supplier review meetings, drives supplier performance and supports long-term cost, supply continuity, and business objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Execute end-to-end purchasing activities for assigned commodities or projects, including PR review, PO placement, contract execution and supplier follow-up; Maintain purchasing data accuracy

Translate commodity and sourcing strategy into executable purchasing plans and allocation decisions
3.
Act as key interface for strategic or critical suppliers and manage ongoing supplier relationships
4.
Lead and host annual supplier review / business review meetings, including performance analysis and action tracking

Independently lead price, commercial terms, MOQ, lead-time and payment term negotiations
6
Drive cost reduction initiatives such as annual price negotiations
7
Lead or coordinate cross-functional purchasing activities for NPI, supplier change and material transition projects
8.
Identify supply risks and coordinate mitigation plans for capacity, lead time and single-source exposure
SCOPE:
Supports commodity and project objectives through effective purchasing execution and cross-functional coordination. Influences purchasing decisions with moderate to high business impact. Contributes to strategy, supplier performance and commercial outcomes without direct people management raesponsibility.
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related
PREFERRED:
Electronics, mechanical or optical communication background
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
10+ years’ of purchasing / procurement experience in manufacturing; proven Senior Buyer responsibilities
PREFERRED:
Experience managing strategic suppliers or commodity / project sourcing
