Work Schedule
This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 – 5:00PM. This position is hybrid. On-site requirements up to four times per year in Middleton, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to:

  • Process complex purchase orders for supplies, general and specialized medical supplies, clinical supplies, medical equipment, and services.
  • Be able to work with end users, clinicians, materials management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) teams on discontinued, back-ordered, conversion and new products.
  • Review and facilitate pricing connections between contracts and ERP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel being able to run pivots and do data analysis to share with contract manager for review.
  • Be able to support special projects as assigned.
  • Work with business leaders for Capital and Non-Capital purchases of goods and services.
  • Assist in obtaining the best products and services at the lowest cost.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field. Required or
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to the experience below. Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5 years purchasing and/or buying experience. Required
  • Healthcare setting experience Preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud or similar ERP preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Preferred
