
We’re looking for a Senior Business Systems & Improvement Manager to lead the development and evolution of our Business Operating System (BOS). This role plays a critical part in ensuring strong governance, effective risk management, and consistent, high-quality project delivery across the business.
Acting as a bridge between operational delivery, business controls, and digital systems, you’ll embed robust processes, improve performance visibility, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also support the transition from a compliance-led approach to a more integrated, digitally enabled operating model that enhances efficiency, control, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and phased implementation of the Business Operating System (BOS)
Drive improvements in governance, risk management, and operational performance across projects and functions
Partner with senior stakeholders to embed consistent, scalable, and efficient ways of working
Provide clear reporting and insight on performance, risk trends, and control effectiveness to senior leadership
Support the evolution of the business towards a fully integrated and digitally enabled operating model
Collaborate with Digital & IT teams to enhance systems, workflows, and access to performance data
Lead internal audit programmes and coordinate external certifications (e.g. ISO)
Ensure regulatory, health & safety, environmental, and information governance requirements are embedded
Facilitate forums and working groups to drive continuous improvement and organisational learning
Promote a culture of accountability, control, and continuous improvement across the business
About You
Proven experience in business systems, governance, operational improvement, or a similar role
Strong understanding of control frameworks, risk management, and assurance processes
Experience working across digital or business transformation initiatives
Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
Experience managing audits, compliance frameworks, or certification processes
Knowledge of ISO standards or similar frameworks (desirable)
