This is a functional role responsible for the end to end lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. This role requires the candidate to act as the primary translator between business requirements and technical execution, overseeing everything from initial process re-engineering and configuration to UAT lead and post go-live production support. The ability to analyze, design, test and implement systems, which enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives, is critical to the success of this role.
Development and maintenance of FI and CO functionality including SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, including sub modules: FI-GL, AP, AR, FSCM, CO-PA, IMPS, ABAP Query and Intercompany transactions. Additional preferred experience: S/4 integration with third party applications such as HighRadius, Concur, Credit Card Processing, Kyriba, Trintech, Vertex
Translating end-user requirements into detailed documented specifications.
Analyzing "as-is" processes to design "to-be" solutions, including documentation and presentation.
Creating complete functional requirements including business impact and ROI analysis.
Hands-on setup of SAP modules and identifying gaps for technical spec development.
Acting as a key resource in Digital/IT projects through all stages; coordinating system conversions.
Integration Management: Overseeing interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and third-party cloud solutions (Concur, Highradius, Kyriba, etc.).
Supporting existing Financial applications and providing post-go-live root-cause analysis.
Debugging issues and performing independent gap/opportunity analysis.
Serving as the primary business contact for specific modules and interacting across functional areas (Sales (OM), SCM, FSCM, etc.).
Leading UAT, guiding business users through validation, and creating holistic testing scripts (unit, integration, and regression).
Developing efficient procedures and guidelines focused on quality deliverables.
Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams (ABAP/Basis) and non-technical teams (Accounting).
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience.
6+ years in an IT systems analysis function.
2+ full life cycle SAP Implementations; must have experience implementing/supporting S/4HANA.
6+ years of hands-on SAP ECC and/or S/4 configuration (i.e, FI/CO, Electronic Bank Statements, Lockbox, Master Data, Tax Jurisdiction).
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and leading specific workstreams/people (project management)
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Financial Supply Chain Management.
Experience with HighRadius, Kyriba, Fiserv, or BPC.
Experience with Vertex or similar automated tax calculation engines.
A functional/technical understanding of SAP ABAP.
Experience configuring or supporting Credit Card processing.
Experience in wholesale distribution or retail business processes.
Staying current with industry developments to suggest improvements for the Airgas environment.
