We are seeking a Business Architect who combines strong business analysis capabilities with a deep understanding of technology, system integrations, and technical feasibility. This Architect will operate as a bridge between business strategy and solution design, capable of shaping requirements, assessing process and value gaps, recommending future-state capabilities, and producing high-level solution designs and rational, data-backed recommendations across the SDLC.
· Provide support for strategic initiatives and idea vetting by completing all required documentation, performing data collection, and conducting analysis for business processes under review with guidance from Business Architect.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of gathered information, including the creation of current-state process maps, experience maps, and other artifacts.
· Partner with business, technology, and analytics teams to identify and prioritize opportunities, ensuring that all opportunities are tracked and followed through to completion.
· Facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
· Provide support in solution design and implementation as needed.
· Create clear, consumable visuals to represent business and solution context, such as:
· Capability maps (current vs. target)
· Process maps (e.g., BPMN, swimlane flows)
· Data flow / integration diagrams
· Drive end-to-end automation projects, from opportunity identification and qualification to creating project Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBA) and ensuring successful execution.
· Stay updated on the latest developments in AI technologies and actively participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Value (POV) exercises for new technologies.
· Perform effectively across SDLC phases: concept, discovery, analysis, design, build support, testing support (SIT/UAT), release readiness, and post-implementation validation.
· Produce and manage requirements artifacts, acceptance criteria, traceability, and change control across iterative (Agile) or sequential (Waterfall) delivery models.
· Support test strategy development and coordinate UAT planning, execution readiness, defect triage, and business sign-off.
Skills and Qualifications:
· 9+ years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical BSA, Solution Analyst, or similar role bridging business needs and technology solutions.
· Demonstrated ability to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define future-state business and technology strategies.
· Knowledge of basic architectural principles with an aptitude to learn methods and tools to solve for business challenges.
· Expertise in Automation & Analytics:
· 2+ years of experience identifying and solving use cases for RPA tools like Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, PEGA, etc.
· Experience with OCR/ICR tools
· Experience in NLP, including Sentiment Analysis, and analytics using unstructured data and chatbots.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work with large, cross-functional teams to align with strategic objectives.
Preferred Skills:
· Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Certified Business Architect
· Strong visual modeling skills (e.g., capability mapping, value streams, process modeling, high-level solution diagrams).
· Proven Experience in implementing OCR, NLP, and AI/ML for analytical and operational use cases.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions with large audiences.
· Experience in Insurance (Life, Term & DI) and/or Annuity Domains.

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
