GFT is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Practice or IT Services team! This role follows a remote work model, however you must be located in the United States and and preferably in the Central time zone.

What you’ll be challenged to do:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves as a senior functional and technical expert for Deltek Vantagepoint, supporting the optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of core business processes across project management, finance, resource management, CRM, and reporting. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, configure system functionality, and ensure alignment between business objectives and system capabilities. The Senior Business Systems Analyst provides leadership for enhancements, integrations, upgrades, organizational changes, and process improvements while serving as a trusted advisor on Vantagepoint best practices and enterprise application strategy.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Leads system analysis for complex enterprise initiative for Deltek Vantagepoint, including configuration, administration, optimization, and support of core ERP functionality.
• Own the review and impact assessment of firm organizational changes, company structure modifications, security model updates, and master data governance decisions to ensure consistency across financial, operational, reporting, and downstream integrated systems.
• Partner with Finance, Project Management, Human Resources, Marketing, and Operations teams to evaluate business requirements and design effective system solutions.
• Translate business requirements into Vantagepoint configurations, workflows, security roles, organizational structures, dashboards, reports, and process improvements.
• Analyze the impact of organization structure changes, project hierarchies, security models, and master data updates to ensure data integrity and reporting consistency.
• Lead the evaluation, prioritization, and implementation of system enhancements, business process improvements, and change requests.
• Analyze and support integrations between Vantagepoint and enterprise applications including HRIS, Power BI, data platforms, and third-party solutions.
• Perform system impact analysis, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for complex business and technical problems.
• Collaborate with process owners, stakeholders, developers, and vendors to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
• Define and oversee system testing activities including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Support ERP governance processes by assessing risks, documenting decisions, maintaining system documentation, and ensuring changes follow established approval processes.
• Provide guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to business stakeholders, system administrators, and support teams.
• Participate in Vantagepoint upgrades, new feature adoption, release planning, and long-term ERP roadmap initiatives.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will bring to our firm:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience supporting, analyzing, designing, or implementing enterprise business applications in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Technical Business Analyst role.
• 3+ years of experience working with complex enterprise ERP platforms.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint configuration, administration, reporting, and process optimization.
• Experience with Vantagepoint project accounting, resource planning, CRM, project management, and organizational structures.
• Experience translating business and functional requirements into system configurations, specifications, workflows, and technical designs.
• Experience analyzing and supporting system integrations, data flows, interfaces, and cross-system dependencies.
• Experience participating in enterprise software implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and data conversion activities.
• Demonstrated ability to perform system impact analysis, root cause analysis, and solution design for complex business requirements.
• Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

What we prefer you bring:

• 7-10+ years supporting enterprise ERP platforms and associated business processes.
• Knowledge of ERP security models, role-based access controls, and segregation of duties principles.
• Experience serving as a lead analyst or solution lead on ERP upgrades, system implementations, or post-go-live stabilization efforts.
• Experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and serving as a functional lead on enterprise system initiatives.

Compensation:The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
