Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join the Technology support team. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, supporting clients and internal stakeholders in leveraging BlackRock’s Aladdin platform for investment management, risk analytics, portfolio management and trading.

This role will provide front-line and advanced production support for the Aladdin platform and will work directly with Investment Operations, Front Office, Vendor Support and multiple teams across business and technology.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of financial markets, and experience working with complex systems or data platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Aladdin platform, including portfolio management, risk analytics, trading workflows, and reporting tools

  • Provide production support across Aladdin daily cycles, troubleshooting positions, transactions, risk/analytics, trade processes, compliance, performance, and breaks.

  • Act as a key escalation point for high-priority incidents and complex issues impacting investment teams

  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications

  • Troubleshoot platform issues including positions, transactions, reconciliations, and data integrity challenges, and provide timely, effective solutions

  • Collaborate with external vendors (including BlackRock) and internal technology teams to resolve defects and support enhancements

  • Knowledge in Compliance Workbench and user management

  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes, including release validation and production readiness

  • Deliver training sessions and documentation to the team

Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 4–7+ years of experience in asset management, financial technology, or consulting

  • Strong understanding of investment processes, financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and portfolio management and risk.

  • Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex system or data issues

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL; Python is a plus)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with the Aladdin platform or similar systems

  • Familiarity with data integration and APIs

  • Understanding of investment operations, daily processing cycles, and downstream data dependencies
