A Brief Overview
This is a high-impact, execution-focused role responsible for building and delivering AI-powered agents and agentic workflows that address critical business challenges. You will partner closely with Data & Analytics (D&A) leaders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable agentic designs, working solutions, and production-ready implementations.
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, and business teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions in enterprise environments. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating business needs into clear requirements and delivering high-quality AI agents that operate reliably within real-world workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Agent Configuration:
- Lead the design, build, and testing of AI agents powered by large language models (LLMs), leveraging prompt engineering, tool use, reasoning workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Convert business needs into requirements, designs, workflow logic, system interactions, and implementation plans.
- Create and maintain specifications for agent behavior, workflow orchestration, tool interactions, exception handling, and human-in-the-loop paths to support reliable implementation and deployment.
- Coordinate integration of AI agents with enterprise platforms, APIs, and data sources, building the connectivity, retrieval patterns, and workflow components needed to enable secure, connected, end-to-end business execution.
- Establish evaluation, testing, and monitoring practices for AI outputs, including quality checks, failure handling, tuning, and issue triage to improve safety, reliability, and performance in production.
- Productionize AI agents by supporting deployment, validation, release readiness, post-production monitoring, and ongoing optimization in partnership with platform and engineering teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partner with Product, Technology, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to define priorities, dependencies, and acceptance criteria, and drive effective delivery of AI solutions into target workflows.
- Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Compliance partners to ensure implementations align with user and operational needs while incorporating required controls, privacy standards, and responsible AI practices.
- Drive strong execution standards through disciplined implementation practices, code quality, testing rigor, and clear documentation across delivered solutions.
- Communicate decisions, implementation trade-offs, delivery risks, and production readiness clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver complex AI solutions with limited oversight.
Governance, Reliability & Responsible AI:
- Embed responsible AI principles and sound controls into solution design, including guardrails, fallback mechanisms, and audit-ready logging.
- Help ensure AI solutions align with enterprise governance, security, and acceptable-use standards, including appropriate human oversight for sensitive use cases.
- Design for reliability and scale by establishing monitoring, alerting, performance metrics, and resilience patterns for production environments.
- Support production deployment and ongoing operations through version control, release processes, testing discipline, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
- Deliver AI capabilities that are innovative, secure, compliant, and reliable in production.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Must-Have Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, software development, or related fields, with a track record of designing and delivering automation and technology solutions in production environments.
- Experience defining and orchestrating complex automated workflows, including multi-step business processes, system integrations, exception handling, and human-in-the-loop activities.
- Experience defining integration requirements and enabling connectivity across enterprise platforms, APIs, and data sources to support end-to-end business workflows.
- Experience supporting the delivery and ongoing operation of production solutions, including coordinating testing, validating requirements, ensuring release readiness, and monitoring performance post-launch.
Nice-To-Have Experience:
- Hands-on or applied experience with machine learning, predictive models, or AI-enabled solutions in real-world use cases.
- Familiarity with agent-based or intelligent automation workflows, including orchestration, tool integration, and decision-driven processes.
- Experience developing and supporting AI-enabled capabilities within enterprise systems and business workflows.
- Exposure to operationalizing AI solutions, including evaluation, performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization in production environments.
Skills and Abilities:
- Business Process Analysis: Analyzing and modeling end-to-end business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and improved outcomes.
- AI/LLM Technologies: Understanding of large language models, generative AI techniques, prompt engineering, and modern AI frameworks.
- Autonomous Agents & AI Planning: Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, multi-agent systems, intelligent automation, or related orchestration approaches.
- Testing & Validation: Experience defining test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating solutions against business requirements.
- MLOps & DevOps: Familiarity with source control, deployment pipelines, evaluation practices, monitoring, and cloud cost optimisation.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong problem-solving, execution ownership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into implementation and work effectively across product, engineering, and business teams.
Certifications (Nice to Have):
