ABOUT THE JOB: Oracle HCM Business Systems Analyst

As part of the IT Applications team, this position will be responsible for maintaining and supporting multiple Oracle Cloud HCM applications and associated business processes related to Human Capital Management but is not limited to modules such as Oracle Cloud HCM Recruiting, Learning, Benefits and related modules. This position will be responsible for the following:

Analysis and Solution Definition:

  • Reviews, analyzes and resolves on-going customer requests
  • Identifies and develops both short-term and long-term strategic solutions with business leadership
  • Collaborate with HR users to promote, develop, and enhance solutions that support timely and accurate transactional data and reporting
  • Provides analytical insight to business leadership/sponsors and other business analysts alike on how to solve challenges related to both business systems and processes
  • Helps to create and implement complex cross functional solutions that may include and impact multiple application modules, business processes, and existing custom integrations or extensions
  • Configures and maintains both Production and Non-Production environments to support technical team development efforts and user acceptance testing as applicable

Project Execution, Delivery and Support:

  • Consistently provides high-quality project deliverables and makes recommendations on IT functional project standards and methodologies
  • Develop functional specifications for mappings/interfaces, procedures and scheduled jobs

  • Supports the development of training materials for business users and if needed, assists in the delivery of training content
  • Assists and ensures business end users are able to trouble-shoot and identify root cause(s) of system errors.
  • Provides production support for many modules and/or business systems within the business area they support
  • Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the utilization of resources allocated to assigned tasks and IT project related deliverables
  • Responsible for on-time delivery and quality of their assigned tasks and activities through the IT project lifecycle
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks within a defined scope, timeline, and resource budget
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Able to quickly analyze and prioritize assigned tasks on a moving environment
  • Requires the ability to build strong working relationships

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of functional experience with Oracle Cloud HCM applications.
  • Working knowledge on or more Oracle Cloud HCM modules like Recruiting, Learning, Compensation or Benefits.
  • Experience in HRIS or IT systems analysis, design and support

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proactive in delivering value-based results from Analysis through the various phases of the IT Project Lifecycle.
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple IT initiatives simultaneously
  • Understands the concepts and methodologies associated with the areas of IT Software Development Lifecycle
  • Supporting IT operational and key controls and supporting systems
  • Very good organizational, communication & documentation skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to interact well with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to complete projects and provide business support at critical times such as open enrollment
