Job Summary - Senior Business Relationship Manager

The Business Relationship Manager Senior (Executive BRM) is the strategic advisor to divisional executive leadership, and senior operational leaders for all technology solutions. The BRM serves as the connector, orchestrator, and navigator with the Information Technology Senior Leadership Team to ensure that all business and operational needs and goals are met. The BRM is the strategic advisor who understands and links the business needs with IT prioritization and implementation to facilitate and achieve business growth objectives. The BRM will also collaborate with their partners and associated business leaders to provide insight and support for technology strategic planning. This position not only meets the customers' business needs but also aligns with overall organizational strategies, shares ownership with operational partners in the creation and realization of business value derived from Information Technology solutions. The BRM also provides feedback and guidance to all IT Service lines about customer successes and challenges to help improve IT solution needs and priorities across the organization. Authorized and accountable to enforce IT Business escalation related operational improvements within IT. This position reports directly to the Vice President of IS Experience and Relationship Management with an indirect reporting relationship to the Hospital leadership.

Essential Functions

  • Active member and IS liaison for divisional executive leadership teams (ELT). Acts as a connection point between the divisional ELT and intermediate BRM’s, maintaining alignment regarding divisional direction and priorities.
  • Liaison and senior member of IS team, working with the CIO and other executive team members of IS to lead relationship management program across the division.
  • Partner with executive leadership on multiple year strategy, execution of strategy and assist with IT governance prioritization. Manage and prioritize often complex issues that require extensive investigation and analysis.
  • Position requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
  • Relationship building with partners and key stakeholders at all levels with a primary focus on: Senior Executives, including Hospital President, COO, CMO, CNO and other key operational leaders
  • Maintains awareness of changes to the organizations strategies goals and processes to ensure requirements, and priorities are properly aligned with all areas. Including the overarching strategy and road map.
  • Serves as the point of escalation to our business partners into IT for issue identification, resolution, and related requests, ensuring transparency to operational leaders regarding change management impact to operations.
  • Adeptness to function with a high degree of decision-making skills, work independently, sometimes with minimal direction.

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Services or related field.
  • Preferred Master's Degree or equivalent in Information Services or related field.
  • 7 years of relevant experience Required
