Then join our team! You can look forward to exciting challenges, an inspiring
environment, and a work culture that combines flexibility and collaboration –
with our 60/40 hybrid model and modern offices in Ratingen as a hub for ideas.
As part of our team,
you will take on the following responsibilities:

As (Senior) Business Process Owner Lead-to-Order, you are responsible for the end-to-end performance of key system-enabled commercial processes across the entire Lead-to-Order funnel — from lead generation and lead routing to lead qualification, initial customer contact, needs assessment, proposal creation, and contract closure. You ensure that the process operates effectively, consistently, and at scale across channels, sales units, and functions. You steer process performance through relevant KPIs and drive the continuous evolution of the process in close collaboration with business and system stakeholders.

  • You own the end-to-end process design of the Lead-to-Order process and define the target operating model, business rules, standards, roles, interfaces, and decision-making frameworks across the customer journey.
  • You are accountable for the performance of the process you own, ensuring target achievement, stability, and effectiveness through a clearly defined KPI framework.
  • You analyze performance deviations across the funnel, identify root causes, and derive prioritized measures to sustainably improve quality, speed, conversion rates, and process consistency.
  • You prioritize business requirements for the process and make decisions regarding process changes, standards, and local variations within the established governance framework.
  • You translate business needs into clear process logic and actionable requirements for process design, system enablement, and operational implementation.
  • You actively manage decentralized process deviations, balancing local requirements against standardization, scalability, and business impact while ensuring transparent decision-making and escalation processes.
  • You drive the continuous improvement of the Lead-to-Order process and ensure that new process logic is effectively embedded within operational teams. In doing so, you work closely with our Commercial Academy.
  • You collaborate closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Product, and IT to translate process requirements into scalable, system-supported solutions.
  • You ensure that process documentation, governance standards, handover points, and relevant policies remain up to date, understandable, and applicable across an international business environment.
  • You bring extensive experience in owning and managing end-to-end commercial processes, ideally within a Lead-to-Order environment, including accountability for performance across channels and sales units.
  • You have a strong KPI and data-driven mindset, with the ability to identify root causes across the funnel, understand performance drivers and interdependencies, and derive clearly prioritized improvement initiatives.
  • You have a proven track record of leading transformation initiatives and successfully embedding new process models within operational organizations.
  • You possess a solid understanding of commercial system landscapes, particularly the interaction between CRM, ERP, omnichannel systems, digital platforms, and AI, and can translate business requirements into scalable process designs.
  • You have experience managing decentralized process deviations and establishing effective governance structures in collaboration with GTM Channel Owners and Sales Units.
  • You bring expertise in requirements engineering as well as the design, modeling, and integration of end-to-end processes within international environments.
  • You demonstrate strong stakeholder management, influencing, and escalation skills within matrix organizations, particularly when working with Sales Units, Channel Owners, and functional stakeholders.
  • You have a strong end-to-end process mindset and the ability to structure complex processes, define clear ownership, and design precise interfaces across functions and systems.
  • Business-fluent English is required. Additional languages are a clear advantage in our international environment. By nature, this role operates across functions, regions, and stakeholder groups.
  • You are a collaborative team player with a strong focus on quality and impact. You challenge the status quo, think in solutions, and view continuous improvement as part of your DNA rather than just an annual objective.
