The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

The Opportunity

The Senior Business Performance Management Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Business Performance Management, is responsible for defining, developing, and managing solutions that improve organizational performance through data-driven insights, reporting capabilities, and scalable data products.

The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data analytics, and technology. It ensures that stakeholders have the tools and intelligence needed to drive operational excellence and strategic decision making.

The successful candidate will build information delivery systems/processes that support the established scorecard framework as well as design custom reports/tools that compliment the performance system. This will involve creating innovative, yet efficient, delivery mechanisms both independently and through collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building products that unlock measurable business value.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for business performance tools, dashboards and analytical capabilities.
  • ​Align product direction with organizational goals, performance targets and operational requirements.

Technical & Analytical Leadership

  • ​Work with Business Unit Support to track and report key performance indicators (KPI’s) across the organization.
  • ​Partner with technical teams to oversee the build and enhancement of data flows from raw source data to curated analytical datasets.
  • ​Leverage business intelligence tools to ensure that end-users can access the data needed to make business decisions.
  • ​Ensure ETL processes meet business requirements for data timeliness, quality and scalability.
  • Build semantic data layers where needed to integrate datasets for AI adoption.

Dashboard and Organization ​​& Certifications

  • ​Build and administer a dashboard certification program across Fidelity utilizing industry’s best practices to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • ​Ensure that data is accessible across the firm by maintaining an inventory of all dashboards and their certification level.

Governance & Quality

  • ​Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across all performance products and ETL environments.
  • ​Maintain compliance with data governance standards, security policies and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • ​​5+ years’ work experience in planning, designing, developing and performing complex analytical reporting​ or relevant work experience
  • Experience deciphering complex data and effectively communicating results required
  • ​Experience managing data-driven or analytical products (dashboards, reporting platforms, performance management tools)​ required

The Following are Assets:

  • Knowledge and experience in financial services, with a focus on the investment industry
  • Experience in Data Pipeline design and ETL
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python
  • Certification in MS Office, SAP, KNIME, Snowflake, Tableau

The Expertise You Bring

  • ​Working knowledge of database architecture and design concepts.
  • ​Familiarity with SQL, data modeling & optimizing ETL pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and performance management.
  • ​Lead complex projects with multiple components and integrate efforts of others while delivering within stated timelines.
  • Experience in applying and adapting various modeling concepts to help solve practical business problems
  • ​Understand industry/market and apply knowledge to bring analysis to peers, clients and management.
  • ​Stay abreast of emerging technologies and theories within the financial industry and share associated expertise with peers, clients and management.
  • ​Solid ability to negotiate diplomatically.
  • ​Build enduring communication channels with business partners at all levels.
  • ​Proven ability to be clear and concise in explanations of complex topics when necessary (both verbally and in writing).

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $105,000 to $ 140,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
