Your contribution!
Supported by a team of project accountants under their functional supervision, the Senior Business Partner - Project Financial Control will work closely with project managers to provide periodic financial analysis and reporting, advice and strategic support. They will also be responsible for conducting the necessary follow-ups between the project managers and the administrative support team (payables, purchasing, treasury, finance, etc.), and for coordinating their efforts in achieving the company's strategic goals. They will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management of projects.
Your day-to-day!
Act as a financial business partner for construction and development teams;
Act as project managers' main point of contact for monthly cost reports and shared services questions (accounting, payables, procurement, etc.);
Analyze and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and models to project managers;
Follow-up with project managers on the use of contingencies and monitoring of risks and opportunities;
Review of monthly reports prepared by project accountants;
Functional supervision of accountants for construction and development projects;
Track and support procurement and payments to ensure timely processing;
Monitor costs and identify liquidity requirements in relation to forecast cash flows, in the short and medium term;
Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls;
Develop, improve and maintain internal processes as well as monthly and quarterly reports.
Your skills, our requirements!
University degree in accounting;
Hold a CPA designation – an asset
Minimum 8 years in accounting, project financial controls or budget management
Knowledge of accounting standards – an asset
Experience in project accounting - an asset
Excellent ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Adaptability to change within a growing company
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and autonomy
Good organizational skills
Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis. Knowledge of Spanish an asset

The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters.
This position is a P4 level.
