The Opportunity

As Senior People Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering people outcomes that support WorkCover Queensland’s strategic direction and long-term organisational success. Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, you’ll partner with senior leaders across one or more allocated Divisions to embed the enterprise People Strategy, develop divisional people plans and deliver contemporary HR solutions across workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations, leadership development, culture, engagement and change. This is a role for someone who can balance strategic influence with practical delivery, using data, insight and trusted relationships to help leaders make confident people decisions.

About You

You bring proven experience in a strategic People Business Partner role, with the confidence to coach and influence senior leaders, navigate complex people matters and deliver solutions that strengthen capability and performance. You’re comfortable working across a broad HR remit, including strategic workforce planning, talent, succession, organisational change, team effectiveness and leadership development. With strong analytical and relationship management skills, you use workforce data and evidence-based insights to identify opportunities, manage risk and support clear, equitable and commercially sound decisions. Most importantly, you bring authenticity, collaboration and a values-led approach to the way you work.
