As the Senior Business Manager, you will play a key role in enabling the delivery of strategic priorities across the business. Acting as a trusted partner to the Country Head Fiji and Head of Commercial Pacific, you will support planning, coordination, and execution of the overall Business priorities, ensuring strong alignment with ANZ Strategy, effective communication, and disciplined delivery.

As a Senior Business Manager, you will:
• Acting as a trusted partner to the Country Head and Head of Commercial Pacific, enabling delivery of key strategic priorities
• Driving effective business rhythm, including planning cycles, leadership forums, and execution tracking
• Managing and coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure alignment and timely delivery of initiatives across the eight Pacific countries (Commercial) and Fiji.
• Act as a key interface with support functions (Marketing, Operations, Risk, T&C, L&D, Product, Governance) to reduce silos, improve collaboration and to ensure effective execution of customer and business priorities in Fiji and the Pacific Commercial Business.
• Enable smooth information flow between leadership, commercial, and operations teams.
• Ensure clear ownership, timelines, and accountability for Country Head sponsored initiatives.
• Facilitate senior leadership meetings, offsites, and critical reviews; document outcomes and follow ups.
• Drive consistent communication and alignment across teams and Regulator.
• Supporting business performance through oversight of planning, forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management
• Preparing high-quality executive communications, presentations, and briefing materials
• Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support business outcomes
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities, and proactively driving resolution
• Ensuring strong governance, discipline, and follow-through across business activities
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Deep experience in financial services or strategic support within complex environments
• Understanding of core banking across commercial and retail segments, including balance sheet dynamics, financial performance drivers, and non-financial risk (NFR) frameworks
• Proven ability to support senior leaders and operate effectively at a senior level
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and concise messaging
• A structured and disciplined approach to planning, execution, and problem solving
• Commercial awareness, with exposure to financial services, strategy, or business performance activities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong judgement and discretion
