Our Client is a German-based technology company founded in 2000, offering a high-performance, in-memory, massively parallel processing (MPP) analytics database for data warehousing, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) workloads
About the Role:
You will play a key role in building and maintaining Exasol’s internal data infrastructure and reporting solutions. Working independently, you will create dashboards, reports, and data pipelines that enable stakeholders across the organization to make informed decisions.
What You Will Do:
Build, maintain, and optimize reporting solutions and dashboards for internal stakeholders
Develop and maintain data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and reliability
Design and implement data pipelines using modern orchestration tools
Create and maintain data models that support business intelligence needs
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver actionable insights
Must-Have
5+ years of experience working with data and business intelligence
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
Experience with Python or similar programming languages for data work
Strong data modeling skills (dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts)
Experience with ETL/data pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt-core, Fivetran)
Familiarity with CI/CD practices (GitHub CI)
Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities
Strong communication skills in English
Nice-to-Have
Experience with client's database
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with Astronomer for workflow orchestration
