Youenjoy improving how procurement works.AsaSenior Procurement Business Intelligence Analyst,you’llplay a key role in strengthening how procurement protects the organization’s interests.You’lllead important risk, quality assurance, policy, and reporting activities across the procurement lifecycle—helping ensure third-party risks areidentified, contract controls are effective, and decision-makers have reliable insights to support strong outcomes.
This is a high-impact role for someone whocancombineprocurementand riskexpertise, sound judgment, and analytical thinking to improve processes, influencestakeholdersandsupport continuousimprovement to strengthen outcomes across FCC.
Whatyou’lldo
Leadand designprocurement riskactivities across the procurement lifecycle,ensuringthird-party risks areidentified,assessedand managedeffectively
Review procurement files, riskassessmentsand contracts toidentifykey risks,documentthemaccuratelyand addressthemthroughappropriate contractualprotections
Collaborate withbusiness, LegalandRiskstakeholdersthroughout assessments
Monitor quality assurance results, remediation actionsand recurring issuesto recommend improvements, strengthencontrolsand support targeted coaching
Develop,updateand implement procurement policies,standardsandguidancewith internalstakeholders; assess impacts to related processes/policies and support integrated implementation
Monitor changes in industry standards, risk practices, and regulatory requirements,applyinginsights to procurement policy and control design
Provideexpert adviceonprocurementpolicy, risk and compliance requirementsto businessunitsand project teams
Ensureaccuracy, timeliness, and controlinprocurement reporting,prioritizingreporting enhancements based on business and regulatory needs
Coordinate responses to external reporting inquiries, includingsensitiverequests, whilemaintaininginternal controls and risk management
Mentor and supportthe Procurement Risk Specialist
Whatyou’llbring to the team
Required Qualifications:
A degree in business, commerce, supply chain, economics, data/analytics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for both Procurement and non-procurement stakeholders
Experience in procurement, supply chain, risk management,complianceor a related function
Strong understanding of third-party risk, contract risk, procurementcontrolsand public sector procurement practices
Ability to interpret policy or regulatory requirements and apply them in practical business contexts
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess data,identifytrends and translate findings into recommendations
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with Legal, Risk, businessstakeholdersand leadership
Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment in complex situations
Preferred qualifications:
Professional designation or certification in procurement, risk management, audit,complianceor a related field
Experience in Canadian public sector procurement, third-party riskmanagementor procurement governance
Experience supporting reporting governance, dataqualityor control-focused reporting processes
