As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for designing complex PowerBI dashboards and integrating various data sources such as SAP and Salesforce. These dashboards will serve a dual purpose: providing analytics to business stakeholders and maintaining a high level of data quality by creating anomaly detection dashboards.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop sophisticated dashboards and scorecards.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights (customer segmentation, white space insights, statistical projections….).
Collaborate with stakeholders from various functions (sales, product management, operations) to gather their needs and define business questions and data requirements.
Support more complex ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
Identify and interpret significant trends and patterns in large datasets.
Ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of BI tools and reports.
Perform root cause analysis to uncover deeper insights.
Document and effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
Mentor junior team members in data analysis and visualization techniques.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance, and regulatory standards.
Operate within a matrix organization, collaborating with various teams and facilitating the implementation and continuous optimization of strategies to overcome business challenges and maximize revenue growth and customer retention.
Skills:
Complex Data Analysis: Proficiency in conducting in-depth and meaningful analyses.
Advanced Visualization: Expertise in creating insightful data visualizations.
ETL Processes: Skills in managing data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Collaborative Requirements Gathering: Ability to define business requirements with management.
Trend Analysis: Proficiency in identifying and interpreting data trends.
Optimization: Skills in improving the efficiency of BI tools and reports.
Mentorship: Ability to guide and support junior colleagues.
Data Compliance: Strong understanding of data governance and privacy regulations.
Requirements:
Proficiency with PowerBI, ideally with certification.
Experience with data integration from various sources including SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, Macros.
Understanding of Design thinking or equivalent framework.
