Job Description
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key player on the eMoney Data and Analytics team The Data and Analytics team is charged with providing critical data and analytical components to deliver insights to all functions of the business. The candidate will work with the cross-functional data and analytics team, subject matter experts, and system vendors to implement the program and define and undertake analytics projects that provide data-supported answers to key business issues.They will also bring presentation skills creating stories about the data, documenting feedback, requirements and showcasing solutions, completing the full project lifecycle (design inception through delivery).The Sr Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders and business sponsors as well as the application development team toevangelizetheir work products and advocateasa driver of data-driven change throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate complex analytical solutions, data relationships and results and their business impacts to multiple business partners and stakeholders, through superior data visualization and storytelling skills
- Leverage, integrate, andnormalize disparate data sources including enterprise systems, internal and third-party applications, and customer data
- Partner withcross-functional,operationalteams to develop quantitative models and analyze business hypotheses, informing data driven decisions to optimize and increase productivityand revenue
- Ensure consistency and cleanliness of the data and analytics code baseto maintain a highly-performant, stable environment for our customers
- Drive business decisions by providing data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers
- Use analytics and metrics to show key performance indicators, improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts
- Develop and maintain consultative relationships with key stakeholders to effectively drive aligned business results
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships in order to effectively synthesizeorganizational needs and translate into a cohesive data strategy
- Integrate cross-functional, cross-market and cross-category analytical insights into strategic thought leadership and actionable recommendations to influence business decisions; Ensure insights are co-owned and advanced within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degreein a quantitative discipline–math, statistics, data and analytics preferred or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in data and analytics, business intelligence, predictive analytics, or related consultative role
Skills
- Advanced Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Looker or similar BI tool
- Highly detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy with data management
- Comfortable preparingandparticipating in thedelivery ofpresentations and action recommendationsthat communicate complex material in layman's terms, guidingbusinessownerson the interpretation, implications and use of analytic results.
- Exhibits a solid understanding of data quality concepts and practices, such as data profiling and creating/maintaining metadata, and factors that contribute to the reliability and integrity of collected data
- Self-motivated, enjoys working in afast-paced, driven environment and collaboratesefficiently as a team member
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to different stakeholder needs
- Seeks out innovative approaches and techniques while making sound business decisions
The salary range for this position is $96,000 - $123,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
