
Encorus Group is growing and seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist with a strong network in the Rochester and Upstate New York inspection and testing industry to drive growth in the region.
This role will focus on identifying and developing new opportunities. The ideal candidate knows where upcoming projects are, is connected to key decision-makers, and can position Encorus as a trusted partner early in the process.
Working closely with our Inspection & Testing leadership and technical teams, you’ll build client relationships, develop sales strategies, and grow the project backlog across Civil Materials, Nondestructive Testing, Mechanical Integrity, and Regulated Building Materials.

Our design team includes multi-state licensed professional engineers, associate engineers, architects, and drafters, providing structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, process, and automation expertise. This breadth of disciplines offers capabilities typically found only in larger firms.
The civil materials testing group conducts field inspection of concrete, masonry, soils, asphalt, structural steel, and related construction materials, supported by an accredited laboratory. Non-destructive testing services include weld inspection, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiographic testing. Technicians and inspectors hold certifications such as ACI, CWI, and NICET.
Our mechanical integrity group provides inspections for tanks, vessels, piping, and boilers, delivering field evaluations, reporting, fitness-for-service reviews, and repair procedure development. Certifications include API 510 (pressure vessels), API 653 (storage tanks), API 570 (process piping), along with CWI, Steel Tank Institute SP001, ASNT-TC-1A, and NBIC qualifications.
The regulated building materials group manages environmental and hazardous materials in New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Services include inspection, sampling, project design, air monitoring, laboratory analysis, and oversight of renovation and demolition projects to ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
