Our client is a Global Company that innovates, optimizes and drives the supply chains and marketing promotions of many of the best known brands in the world. They are now seeking a Senior / Business Development Manager to join their team.

Senior / Business Development Manager (Supply Chain / Logistics

The Senior / BD Manger will lead and drive development of new customers in HFM target markets. He/She will identify new partnerships to expand HFM footprint in target markets, and in collaboration with Procurement develop service offerings to strengthen HFM value propostion in target markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth strategies focusing on financial results and customer satisfaction
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities in the assigned markets, leading to strong BD pipeline
• Collect and feedback on market intellignece and opportunities, and create and maintain list/database of prospect customers in CRM
• Develop sales tools and related resources to ensure overall sales effectiveness
• Establish relationships with target customers, understand customers’ needs and b uild business relationship
• Partner with internal teams to review, develop and link business opportunities, market trends, costs and company’s capabilities to win new customers and maximise profitability
• Partner with Pricing and Operations teams to develop service solutions to support customers’ needs
• Partner with Marketing and Communication to position HFM as a significant player in the target markets
• Other projects ie. Sales and Marketing campaigns

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Management, Business or Commerce
• More than 8 years of Business Development experience in Logistics in Hongkong and South China market
• Good understanding of Logistics market trends and industry insights
• Commercially focused and results oriented
• Independent, resourceful & possess high drive to excel
• Excellent communication skills; ability to influence across teams
• Business acumen and agility
• Strong network in Logistics industry in HK and SPRC
