
The Space & Missile Defense Business Development Manager at Odyssey is responsible for building relationships with potential customers, gaining access to new markets, identifying new business opportunities, shaping pursuits, managing relationships with current customers, supporting associated marketing strategies, working closely with capture managers and the broader business development team, and developing and executing business development strategies on behalf of the company.

Clearance: Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technical Discipline, or relevant military, government or business experience.
Years of Experience: 3-5 years Business Development or Capture experience in DoD services companies, preferably supporting Space and Missile Defense customers and markets.
Clearance: Active Top Secret
Education: Master's Degree in a business field.
Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Shipley certification.
Experience: 10+ years of Military or federal civil service experience strongly preferred.
Location: Hybrid, ideally from a major Fleet concentration area (San Diego, Groton, Tidewater), the greater Washington DC area, or near an Odyssey corporate office.
Travel: 25-60%
Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Hybrid. This position should physically be in Los Angeles/El Segundo or the Space Coast - Florida

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
