Australia's food supply chain moves on transport and that's where this role is focused.

As Lineage continues to expand its market-leading temperature-controlled logistics network, we're looking for a proven transport sales professional who understands how to unlock growth through road freight, linehaul, distribution and integrated transport solutions.

This role is centred on winning new transport business, developing strategic freight partnerships and helping customers optimise complex supply chains, leveraging Lineage's extensive warehousing and cold storage footprint as a powerful enabler rather than the primary offering.

We're looking to appoint a commercially savvy Senior Business Development Manager - Integrated Solutions (Transport & Freight) to identify, develop and grow strategic customer partnerships, with a primary focus on expanding our road transport and linehaul services across Australia.

This a high-impact role is suited to an experienced transport sales professional who thrives on winning new business, developing long-term customer partnerships and developing tailored freight solutions for complex supply chains.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering profitable revenue growth through new customer acquisition, with a strong emphasis on temperature-controlled transport and freight solutions.
• Identifying, developing and converting opportunities across refrigerated, metropolitan, regional and interstate transport networks.
• Growing share of wallet within existing strategic accounts by expanding transport services and uncovering new freight opportunities.
• Developing commercially competitive transport solutions supported by warehousing, inventory management and value-added supply chain services where appropriate.
• Creating and harnessing a robust sales pipeline through disciplined prospecting, account planning and structured sales methodologies.
• Partnering closely with transport operations, customer service and warehouse teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes and seamless onboarding.
• Leading strategic commercial conversations with senior customer stakeholders and influencing transport procurement decisions.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.

What We're Looking For

You are a proven transport sales hunter with a track record of delivering sustainable growth through strategic customer acquisition and account development.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Significant business development experience within road transport, freight, third-party logistics (3PL) or integrated supply chain environments.
• Demonstrated success winning new transport business and delivering revenue growth against ambitious sales targets.
• In-depth understanding of transport operations, networks, pricing models and customer supply chain requirements.
• Experience developing value-based transport solutions that solve customer challenges and create long-term partnerships.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to shape compelling business cases and negotiate complex agreements.
• Proficiency in using structured sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman or similar.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• The ability to analyse opportunities, develop strategic account plans and execute growth strategies.
