You will identify new markets and customer segments, develop relationships with senior decision-makers, build a strong sales pipeline, and personally lead high-value opportunities through to close.
Beyond sales, you will contribute to the wider commercial direction of the business. You’ll help identify the right markets to target, shape the go-to-market approach, refine the commercial proposition, and bring valuable insight from the market and customers back into the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business sales and revenue growth for a SaaS product.

- Build a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise and strategic opportunities.
- Own the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations and closing.
- Personally lead and close high-value and complex sales opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders across prospective client organisations.
- Develop and execute account and market development strategies to open new revenue streams.
- Research target markets, customer needs, competitors and emerging trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Contribute to the development of the commercial strategy and go-to-market approach.
- Help shape the positioning, value proposition and commercial proposition based on market opportunities and customer needs.
- Gather client and market feedback and translate it into actionable insights for product, marketing and leadership teams.
- Work closely with product, marketing and commercial stakeholders to support product positioning, market expansion and customer acquisition.
- Help establish effective sales processes and commercial practices as the business grows.
- Contribute to building the future commercial function and play an active role in its development.
- Represent the business in meetings, industry events and other relevant commercial activities.
- Consistently work towards agreed revenue and business development targets.
What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in enterprise or complex sales, ideally involving senior decision-makers and longer sales cycles.
- Experience opening new markets, developing new revenue streams or taking a product into new customer segments.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the ability to understand and communicate the commercial value of a technology product.
- Experience working in a growth-stage environment where processes, markets and commercial strategies are still being developed is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence in leading negotiations and closing deals.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with a very hands-on approach to sales.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine hunger to build something new.
- Comfortable operating with a high level of ownership and autonomy.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
